Awareness Initiative Aims to Strengthen Psychological and Educational Support
As part of ongoing efforts to support pupils preparing for their certificate examinations, the Marrakech School Security Unit organized an awareness and guidance session on Friday, June 5, 2026, for sixth-grade pupils at Al Bachir Primary School. The initiative sought to provide psychological and educational support, helping students approach their upcoming examinations with confidence and readiness.
Institutional Partnership Promoting Citizenship and Civic Values
This initiative forms part of the collaborative strategy implemented by Morocco’s General Directorate of National Security in partnership with educational stakeholders. It aims to foster civic responsibility, positive behavior, and a stronger culture of citizenship within the school environment.
Practical Guidance to Overcome Examination Stress
The session was led by Nesrine Bentaleb, Chief Warrant Officer, who delivered practical advice and motivational guidance designed to boost students’ morale and prepare them mentally for the examination period. Educational staff also received recommendations on how best to support learners during this critical stage.
Discussions focused on adapting to the atmosphere of the Regional Unified Examination, managing stress and anxiety, and understanding the legal and regulatory framework governing examination procedures.
Encouraging Self-Confidence and Independent Learning
During the session, pupils were encouraged to remain focused, trust their abilities, and rely on their own knowledge when sitting for examinations. The facilitator highlighted several factors that may negatively impact academic performance while emphasizing that educational, administrative, and security authorities are fully mobilized to ensure a safe, supportive, and conducive examination environment.
Recognition of Collective Efforts
At the conclusion of the event, the school administration expressed its appreciation to the Director of the Regional Academy of Education and Training, the Provincial Director of the Ministry of National Education, the Marrakech Police Prefect, and all members of the School Security Unit for their dedication and continued efforts in ensuring the success of this awareness campaign.
