Authorities launch large-scale response

A light training aircraft crashed on Tuesday morning, July 14, 2026, in the village of Tagoura, located in the commune of Aghouatim, Al Haouz Province, under circumstances that remain unclear. The incident prompted a swift response from security forces, local authorities, and emergency services.

Pilot injured, no other casualties reported

According to local sources, the pilot sustained injuries of varying severity and was rushed to a medical facility for treatment. No fatalities or additional injuries among local residents have been reported.

Technical and judicial investigation underway

Following the accident, units of the Royal Gendarmerie, led by the Provincial Commander of Al Haouz, along with local authorities and Civil Protection teams, secured the crash site, provided first aid, and supervised the evacuation of the injured pilot.
