For the First Time, Oualidia’s Main Beach Earns the Prestigious Blue Flag Award

A new milestone for Morocco’s coastal tourism. Oualidia’s Main Beach, located in Sidi Bennour Province, has been awarded the internationally recognized Blue Flag for the first time, in recognition of its compliance with global standards for water quality, cleanliness, safety, and environmental management.

This achievement reflects the joint efforts of local authorities and stakeholders to upgrade the beach’s facilities, strengthen lifeguard and safety services, and promote environmental awareness through educational activities. Accessibility improvements have also been introduced to ensure easier access for people with disabilities.

Visitors have praised the beach for its cleanliness, excellent services, and high safety standards, further strengthening Oualidia’s reputation as one of Morocco’s top family-friendly seaside destinations.
