Solar-Powered Water Infrastructure Brings Relief to Local Communities

In a humanitarian initiative reflecting the values of solidarity and international cooperation, the French association Oncatalyse, in partnership with the Enerconfort Foundation, has launched a social and development project benefiting the residents of Amlil in Al Haouz Province. The project aims to improve living conditions and enhance access to essential services, particularly safe drinking water.

The initiative includes the installation of water tanks equipped with solar-powered pumping systems, providing dozens of families with a sustainable and reliable source of water. The project is especially significant for communities facing recurring difficulties in accessing this vital resource. It represents a major step toward strengthening water security and improving the quality of life in the region.

Humanitarian Assistance Brings Smiles to Children’s Faces

Beyond its development component, the initiative also featured the distribution of humanitarian aid to families and children, including clothing, school supplies, and sweets, creating an atmosphere of joy, solidarity, and community support.

The event was attended by actor and theatre director Younes Serdi, who has been actively involved for years alongside the association in supporting vulnerable communities through a range of social and humanitarian initiatives.

More Than 15 Years of Humanitarian and Sustainable Development Efforts

Since 2009, Oncatalyse has been carrying out humanitarian and development projects across Morocco and several African countries. Its work focuses primarily on rural and underserved areas facing infrastructure shortages and limited access to basic services, in partnership with organizations committed to sustainable development and social solidarity.

Promoting Local Development and Strengthening Solidarity

This initiative forms part of a broader vision aimed at fostering local development and improving the living conditions of the most vulnerable populations through sustainable projects tailored to the real needs of local communities while respecting their social and territorial specificities.

Local stakeholders hope to see more initiatives of this kind, given their direct positive impact on citizens’ lives and the strong humanitarian values they embody, strengthening bonds of solidarity and cooperation between peoples.
