A Humanitarian Gesture from His Majesty the King Toward Senegalese Supporters

In a new humanitarian initiative reflecting the noble values of the Kingdom of Morocco, His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist Him, granted a royal pardon on the occasion of Eid al-Adha to a number of Senegalese supporters who had been sentenced in connection with offenses and crimes committed during the Africa Cup of Nations football tournament, hosted by Morocco between December 21, 2025, and January 18, 2026.

This high royal decision comes within the framework of the strong historical and brotherly relations between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Republic of Senegal, which have long stood as a model of cooperation and solidarity between the two brotherly nations.

This generous royal gesture reflects the humanitarian dimension and spirit of tolerance that characterize the wise policy of His Majesty the King. It also embodies the authentic values deeply rooted in Moroccan identity, based on mercy, compassion, forgiveness, and tolerance.
